Raghunath Vydyanath
Raghu has extensive functional and technical knowledge of Oracle HRMS product suite and as the Direct of Development in Oracle HRMS Development, has been responsible for identifying the strategy and roadmap of the HRMS intelligence development group. HRMS intelligence development group is responsible for delivering operational reporting content for HR and Recruitment modules, Embedded Data warehouse module, Discoverer Analytics and Daily Business Intelligence for HRMS.
He has also worked closely with customers to ensure several successful implementations of various HRMS module(s) and, is skilled in programme management and leading virtual team(s).
Raghu has and presented on the product capabilities in various external forums like Oracle Open World, Customer Advisory Boards and Special Interest Groups.

A: 8 years
How did you come to work with Oracle Apps?
A: When I joined the UK Oracle HRMS development team in August 1999.
When did you become an Oracle Contractor?
A: Early 2006
What is the most enjoyable part of your work?
A: Working with end users.
What is the least enjoyable part of your work?
A: Spending so much time away from my family.
What has been the most satisfying project you have worked on and why?
A: HR Transformation project for a large financial services client.
Which consultant / contractor have you learnt the most from / enjoyed working with the most and why?
A: Almost everyone teaches you something. However working with Application Lynx staff has been a very rewarding experience professionally and personally.
What do you see happening in Oracle Apps as we move towards Fusion?
A: Given that upgrade to fusion is inevitable, customers should use what time is available to review all their customizations and migrating, where possible, to oracle supported functionality.
What are the hot topics in your area of expertise?
A: Compensation Workbench, BI and Talent Management ( Appraisal, OLM and iRec )
What do you do when you are not working?
A: Catch-up with friends over a pint or watching football ( esp Chelsea FC )
