Senthilkumar Shanmugam is a independent Oracle Apps consultant with overall 6+ Years of experience in Oracle Applications. Currently he is a Contractor in UK and has worked on numerous applications within Oracle eBusiness Suite across Europe.

Senthil has worked on various R12 projects and has good knowledge on OA Framework, ADF , BPEL, SOA, Web Services. He is currently working on building custom applications using ADF and integrate with Oracle Application.

How many years of Oracle Apps experience do you have? 

A: 6 Years

How did you come to work with Oracle Apps? 

A: I started my career with Oracle Corporation. So, no choice.

When did you become an Oracle Contractor? 

A: 2007

What is the most enjoyable part of your work?

A: Working with lot of people across various countries.

What is the least enjoyable part of your work? 

A: Travelling - Of course which cant be avoided.

What has been the most satisfying project you have worked on and why? 

A: Almost all the projects I worked on till now are satisfactory.

Which consultant / contractor have you learnt the most from / enjoyed working with the most and why? 

A: Almost all people whom I worked while at Oracle Corp were good mentors in terms of various aspects. I learnt a lot from them.

What do you see happening in Oracle Apps as we move towards “Fusion”? 

A: Heading to new generation technologies which is very much needed.

What are the hot topics in your area of expertise?

A: OAF, MSCA, ADF , BPEL , SOA

What do you do when you are not working? 

A: Spend time with family and friends.
