Go Yoshida
Go Yoshida has been an Oracle Financials/ Cost Accounting Consultant for more than 25 years. Currently working in Japan Go has also worked in other Countries including in USA, Singapore, China and Malaysia.
Go is Fluent across several languages including my Japanese, English, Spanish, Portuguese and German. He also is a US CPA holder.
He has been a Contractor for about nine years. Go is very unique in the Japanese Market as there is not many independent contractors in Japan.
He likes to travel and has already visited more than 30 countries, He advises this is not so easy now with three young daughters.

How did you come to work with Oracle Apps/ Oracle Development Tools?
A: I joined Oracle Japan in 1996 as Oracle Apps financials functional consultant, and started my Apps career since that time
When did you become an Oracle Contractor?
A: In 2001 I became an Oracle Contractor.
What is the most enjoyable part of your work?
A: I can always find something to learn from any project I have been involved.
What is the least enjoyable part of your work?
A: I may not be motivated if I have to repeat the same routine over and over.
What has been the most satisfying project you have worked on and why?
A: I feel satisfied working on the project in which I could implement Oracle EBS Financials modules and Costing module for Japanese Manufacturing Company, Which finally became the template model for that company.
Which consultant / contractor have you learnt the most from / enjoyed working with the most and why?
A: A US consultant with whom I worked together in the global implementation project.
What do you see happening in Oracle Apps as we move towards Fusion?
A: I am nor sure at this point. Even now I am learning a lot on R12.
What are the hot topics in your area of expertise?
A: Cost Accounting for Japanese & Global Manufacturing Companies, and integration of CMS (Cash Management System) and Oracle EBS.
What do you do when you are not working?
A: Play with my kids, and visit hot spring spot in Japan with my family.
